Connectbase was founded in 2015 by Ben Edmond, who spent over 20 years in the fiber, telecom, and networking industry in a variety of executive leadership roles. Ben experienced firsthand the ways in which connectivity providers needed to position themselves for sustained growth and what was lacking in their current arsenal of capabilities. Among the most important revelations was the need for location context in everything they did – from identifying suppliers to quoting them and from prospecting buildings to pricing them. Connectbase was founded to specifically serve these buyers and sellers of network and deliver a level of precise decision-making and automation that was unrivaled.

Prior to founding Connectbase, Mr. Edmond served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Global Capacity, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s customer go-to-market strategy and execution. Mr. Edmond has 20 years of experience in the fiber, telecom and networking industries, encompassing broad expertise in the areas of executive leadership, strategy, customer experience, sales, marketing, and operations.
Prior to leading the Technology Team at Connectbase, Mr. Wright served as the SVP of Product Development at Global Capacity, where he successfully lead product and business operations through the use of cutting edge development processes and close partnerships with the various functional groups. Mr. Wright has over 30 years of experience in organizational development, technology thought leadership, commercial software development, systems architecture, information technology, and product development.
Prior to leading the Finance Team at Connectbase, Mr. Hazan served as the CFO at Invoke, ModoLabs, PeerApp (acquired by ESW Capital) and Enigma (acquired by PTC). Mr. Hazan has over 20 years of hands-on experience with software and services companies serving as a senior financial executive with experience in corporate finance and controllership, financial reporting, planning & analysis, operations, business development and M&A. Mr. Hazan led a $50M M&A activity for an enterprise software company and raised $80M+ equity from global Equity Funds, VC’s and financial institutions through several rounds of financing.
Prior to leading the Sales Team at Connectbase, Mr. Leavitt was the VP of Sales at Legendary Applied Analytics. While there, Mr. Leavitt was responsible for designing and executing their go-to-market strategy targeting net new market segments for the company. Mr. Leavitt has 20 years of diverse experience in SaaS sales serving in both Sales Leadership and General Management roles for both pre and post IPO companies. His prior experience also includes working for companies such as Connected Corporation, Imperva, Exact Software, Iron Mountain and HP.
Prior to leading the Product team at Connectbase, Mr. Nachum served in several product, technology, and strategy leadership roles for innovative high-growth cloud-based solutions in the telecom and HR Tech industries. He recently served as VP Product and Technology at Elements Global Services where he led development for an HR business intelligence SaaS solution. Mr. Nachum has over 25 years of broad experience in the telecom industry with companies including Spirent, MRV (acquired by Adva), ADTRAN, and ECI Telecom (now Ribbon).
Prior to leading the Customer Operations team at Connectbase, Mr. Darby served as the Chief Operating Officer and Allied Telecom Group, and Vice President of Customers Operations at both GTT and Inphonic (acquired by Walmart). Mr. Darby has 25 years of hands-on telecommunications experience driving Service Delivery, Customer Operations, Client Experience, Revenue Assurance, and Business Transformation initiatives. Mr. Darby also has extensive M&A experience, integrating the assets and back-office processes of over 30 telecommunications services firms.

Results-focused leader with diverse experience within the telecom industry. Demonstrated acumen in strategic planning, sales team development, leadership, business planning, product management, execution and market development.
Mr. Endicott has 18 years of consulting experience, of which 8 focused on the wireless sector. He is Managing Partner at Nauta Capital, overseeing its U.S. operations based in Boston.
As a Founder and General Partner at Pulse Ventures, Matt is involved in all aspects of the firm including sourcing, researching, negotiating and leading investments in early stage technology businesses. Matt works closely with a handful of companies where he is an active board member and adviser to the senior management team.
Sean is Principal at Osage Venture Partners. He received his MBA after spending five years at Monitor Group where he focused on integrating marketing strategy and organizational design. He has enabled Fortune 500 multinational companies to achieve sustainable growth, primarily in the consumer-packaged goods and life sciences industries.
Mr. Shutt’s leadership career spans more than two decades in strategic leadership positions having held the roles of Executive Officer, President and Board member of several high profile and fast-growing technology companies in the telecommunications and technology industries in both public and privately held companies.
Charles has spent the last 20 years as an operator, director, and investor in data businesses of all types. He is currently CEO of Comlinkdata, a private equity-backed data business serving the telecommunications industry in Boston, MA.
Mr. Roberts is a founding member of venture capital fund Harbert Growth Partners, providing growth capital to emerging entrepreneurial leaders for the last nineteen years. He has spent the last 30 years as a principal in creating and investing in new businesses and as an advisor to entrepreneurs and corporate executives on operating growth, financing and exit strategies.
